Meet Our Team

Veterinarian (BVSc (Qld) MANZCVS)

Kent graduated from the University of Queensland in 1986. He moved to Melbourne following graduation and worked in a small animal practice that treated many greyhounds and show dogs. It was here that he developed a special interest in musculo-skeletal problems and diagnosing causes of lameness. He qualified as a Member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists Surgery chapter in 1994. Kent has had Cavalier King Charles spaniels and Cavoodles as members of his family over the years. Away from work he likes to travel and spend time with his family. He is a keen Melbourne Storm supporter and tries to get to the games when he is not working.

Veterinarian ( BVSc Hons (Melb) MANZCVS)

Corrie is a familiar face to a lot of the patients at Knox Vet Clinic as she has been working two shifts a week at the clinic for a very long time.  She has just recently started working full time with us so her patients will be seeing her around here more often these days!  As well as her interest in birds, dogs and cats, Corrie has a love for rabbits and a wealth of knowledge not only from a veterinary background but also from caring for her own family of animals at home.

Veterinarian (DVM)

Dr Laura Daly originates from Ireland, but has been working in the UK since she graduated in 2014 from the Szent Istvan University in Budapest. Laura recently moved to Australia with her boyfriend James and their fur baby Harvey after holidaying here last year and falling in love with the lifestyle (& climate)!

Veterinarian (BSc (Veterinary Biology), DVM)

Sam joined our team after graduating from Murdoch University in Perth, WA. Originally from Melbourne, she loves being back home surrounded by the culture and getting to spend time with her family. Sam's interests outside of work include reading, creating art and learning more about different cultures including their traditions and language, but mainly of their food!

Practice Manager (QVN)

Kelly began working at Knox Veterinary Clinic in 1998 and completed her diploma of Veterinary Nursing in 2001.  She worked full time up until 2005 when the first of her three children was born and is now working part-time since all her kids are now at school. Kelly has a German Shepherd named Ruby who keeps the entire family active.

Veterinary Nurse

Kim grew up in the Knox area and was a regular visitor to the clinic in days past. She changed careers to start vet nursing here in 2006, first as a volunteer, then becoming full time. She gets to indulge in her passion for animals every day and would never go back to an office job. With her husband Adam she owns a mischievous chocolate Lab called Amber, a black Lab named Ruby and has adopted a cheeky parrot called Birdy who has some choice words to say at times. There are also alpacas and chickens to round out the “farm” which they all thoroughly enjoy.

Veterinary Nurse (QVN)

Amy joined Knox Vet Clinic in 2010 and has since completed her training to become a Qualified Veterinary Nurse. Amy’s family have been clients at the clinic for many years and it is great to have Amy on board. Outside of work Amy is a volunteer guide at the Melbourne Zoo and a keen wildlife photographer and artist. She is crazy about Disney, and in 2014, realised a lifelong dream of visiting Disneyland and Disneyworld in the US. Her next travel destination is to visit Japan to see Tokyo Disneyland and all the Japanese anime.

Veterinary Nurse (PhD., QVN)

Allyson joined the Knox Vet Clinic full time after spending twelve months helping out on Saturday mornings. She comes from a medical research background having completed her PhD at Monash University. Allyson has a menagerie of cats at home and has a real love of animals like the rest of us. We are very lucky to have Allyson with her bubbly nature and enthusiasm on the team.

Veterinary Nurse

Marcia works at the clinic on Tuesdays and various Saturdays and has done so for a very long time.  She also works at the Melbourne Bird Clinic during the week. Currently Marcia has a Staffy called Stella with a lot of energy as well as horses on her property.  When she’s not working Marcia likes to escape to the country for some peace and quiet with her husband Kevin.

Veterinary Nurse (QVN)

Annie joined our team in February 2017 after completing Work Experience here and then coming in on Saturday mornings to observe and learn at the clinic. She loves working with all types of animals and achieved her veterinary nursing qualification (QVN) at Box Hill TAFE. Annie is always smiling and a delight to have working at Knox.

Trainee Nurse (Certificate II Animal Studies)

Kaitlin is our newest trainee veterinary nurse and has commenced her certificate IV in veterinary nursing course at Box Hill TAFE. Kaitlin has a real love of animals and has their wellbeing at heart. Apart from her work and studies Kaitlin enjoys shopping, travel and music.
