KENT

Veterinarian (BVSc (Qld) MANZCVS)

Kent graduated from the University of Queensland in 1986. He moved to Melbourne following graduation and worked in a small animal practice that treated many greyhounds and show dogs. It was here that he developed a special interest in musculoskeletal problems and diagnosing causes of lameness. He qualified as a Member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists Surgery chapter in 1994. Kent has had Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and their crosses as members of his family over the years, including Misty and currently Beau. Away from work he likes to travel. He is a keen Melbourne Storm supporter and tries to get to the games when he is not working.

LAURA

Veterinarian (DVM)

Dr. Laura Daly is originally from Ireland but very well-travelled. During her studies at Szent Istvan University in Budapest, she completed a clinical semester in Toronto and following qualification, worked in the United Kingdom at a small animal practice for four years. Laura decided to take the leap and move to Australia after holidaying here and falling in love with the lifestyle and climate. Upon completion of the national veterinary exams in Australia in 2018, Laura joined the team with her fur baby Harvey the Spaniel X Poodle. Laura loves the variety that small animal practice brings, and has a special interest in surgery. She loves working with all the different shapes and sizes of each precious pet that trots, runs, bounces, carried or dragged through the door every day!

MICHELLE

Veterinarian (BVM&S MRCVS)

KELLY

Practice Manager (QVN)

Kelly began working at Knox Veterinary Clinic in 1998 and completed her diploma of Veterinary Nursing in 2001. Over the years Kelly has worked a variety of hours around her family commitments but now that her 3 kids are growing up and are all at high school you will likely see her here working at the clinic most days.  She's great with both people and animals, and she has her own German Shepherd named Ruby who keeps the entire family active.

KIM

Veterinary Nurse

Kim grew up locally and was a regular visitor to the clinic in days past. She changed careers to start vet nursing here in 2006, first as a volunteer, then becoming full time. She gets to indulge in her passion for animals every day and would never go back to an office job. Kim owns a mischievous chocolate Labrador called Amber, who's trained and spoilt in equal measure!

MARCIA

Veterinary Nurse

Marcia works at the clinic part-time and is a long-standing member of our team. Currently, Marcia has Axle the Bull Mastiff X, Kip the Kelpie X, Felix the cat, and Luna the Cattle Dog X, along with a number of horses!  When she’s not working Marcia likes to relax at her semi-rural property and enjoy the serenity out in nature.

AMY

Veterinary Nurse (QVN)

Amy joined Knox Vet Clinic in 2010 and has since completed her training to become a Qualified Veterinary Nurse. Amy’s family have been clients at the clinic for many years and it is great to have Amy on board. She is crazy about Disney, and in 2014, realised a lifelong dream of visiting Disneyland and Disneyworld in the US. She and her husband are owned by their two cats Meela and Neville who rule the roost and have also recently welcomed a little baby boy into their lives to add to their family. If you visit the clinic on Saturdays you will most likely see Amy here to greet you.

KAITLIN

Veterinary Nurse (QVN)

Kaitlin is our most recently qualified veterinary nurse and has completed her certificate IV in veterinary nursing at Box Hill TAFE. Kaitlin loves animals like the rest of us and has their wellbeing at heart, but her real interest is in engaging and sharing a personal touch with all the clients that come through. Apart from her work and studies Kaitlin enjoys shopping, food, fashion and travel.

REBEKAH

Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Rebekah joined the clinic as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse in May 2022 and is currently undertaking her Certificate 4 in Vet Nursing at Box Hill TAFE. She is very keen to absorb and learn all the information she can to assist our clients and their furry family members.  She has two of her own cats called Hex and Merlyn keeping her company at home whilst she completes her studies.

JESS

Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Jess started working at Knox in September 2022, changing careers from her previous position as Manager at Maha restaurant in Melbourne.  Jess is currently undertaking her Cert 4 in Veterinary nursing and juggling work and study alongside her family commitments of being Mum to her 3 kids and her 3 fur-babies Winnie the dog and Anchovy and Astrid the cats. Jess always greets everyone with a smile and is quickly learning the skills and knowledge to gain her Vet Nursing Qualification.

BELLA

Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Bella is our newest addition to the team and is currently studying her Cert 4 in Veterinary Nursing. After discovering that University wasn't for her, she began her journey to becoming a vet nurse in 2020.  During her free time Bella like to attend concerts and listen to various audiobooks.  She has a Staffy x Australian Shepherd named Albus and is the happiest caring for him as well as every fur baby that walks through the clinic doors!
