Meet Our Team

Veterinarian (BVSc (Qld) MANZCVS)

Kent graduated from the University of Queensland in 1986. He came straight to Melbourne and worked in a small animal practice that treated many greyhounds. It was here that he developed a special interest in musculo-skeletal problems and diagnosing causes of lameness. He qualified as a Member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists Surgery chapter in 1994. Kent has a soft spot for Cavalier King Charles spaniels and has a Cavoodle called Misty. Away from work he likes to travel and spend time with his family. He is a keen Melbourne Storm supporter and tries to get to the games when he is not working.

Veterinarian (BVSc (Melb))

Danni joined Knox Vet Clinic in 2016 in a Locum position and we loved the energy she brought to the clinic so much that we asked her to stay with us on a permanent basis.  Danni keeps herself busy and the nurse’s nails in the clinic looking beautiful with her Jamberry business on the side.  She has a four legged family at home with her husband Alan that includes the usual suspects of a dog and cat but then the unusual addition of Jimmy the bearded dragon….who turns from a beautiful golden colour to black when he is grumpy!!! Danni also loves caring for Rabbits and has a particular interest and wealth of knowledge in their health and any issues that may arise.

Veterinarian ( BVetMed, MRCVS)

Mary is originally from Kentucky and has just moved to Australia after studying at The Royal Veterinary College in London, UK. While in London, Mary met her husband Jay who brought her here to live in Melbourne, along with their Chinese Crested dog Chloe (also originally from Kentucky!). They have recently added to their family with adopted cat Max. Mary has particular interests in clinical pathology and small animal internal medicine. She also plays competition volleyball in her spare time.

Veterinarian ( BVSc (Melb) MANZCVS)

Corrie is a familiar face to a lot of the patients at Knox Vet Clinic as she has worked with us before.  She is currently working on Wednesday evenings and Thursday mornings at the clinic as she also works at Melbourne Bird Clinic nearby.  As well as her interest in Birds, Dogs and Cats, Corrie has a love for rabbits and a wealth of knowledge not only from a veterinary background but also from caring for her own family of animals at home.

Veterinarian (DVM (Melb))

Tammy joined our practice in 2017 after working in Pakenham for a couple of years. She has a pet rabbit called Shortbread at home who loves to frolick around in the yard. Outside of work Tammy loves to travel and is a massive foodie. Sometimes she geeks out over pop culture. Tammy can also speak Cantonese.

Practice Manager (QVN)

Kelly began working at Knox Veterinary Clinic in 1998 and completed her diploma of Veterinary Nursing in 2001.  She worked full time up until 2005 when the first of her three children was born and is now working part-time since all her kids are now at school. Kelly has a German Shepherd named Ruby who keeps the entire family active.

Veterinary Nurse

Kim grew up in the Knox area and was a regular visitor to the clinic in days past. She changed careers to start vet nursing here in 2006, first as a volunteer, then becoming full time. She gets to indulge in her passion for animals every day and would never go back to an office job. With her husband Adam she owns a mischievous chocolate Lab called Amber, a black Lab named Ruby and has adopted a cheeky parrot called Birdy who has some choice words to say at times. There are also alpacas and chickens to round out the “farm” which they all thoroughly enjoy.

Veterinary Nurse (QVN)

Amy joined Knox Vet Clinic in 2010 and has since completed her training to become a Qualified Veterinary Nurse. Amy’s family have been clients at the clinic for many years and it is great to have Amy on board. Outside of work Amy is a volunteer guide at the Melbourne Zoo and a keen wildlife photographer and artist . She is crazy about Disney and in 2014 realised a lifelong dream of visiting Disneyland and Disneyworld in the US. Her next travel destination is to visit Japan and see Tokyo Disneyland and all the Japanese anime.

Allyson joined the Knox Vet Clinic full time after spending twelve months helping out on Saturday mornings. She comes from a medical research background having completed her PhD at Monash University. Allyson has a menagerie of cats at home and has a real love of animals like the rest of us. We are very lucky to have Allyson with her bubbly nature and enthusiasm on the team.
